How I fell for an Internet Scam

I am sure that we have all wanted to make some extra money on the side at one time in our lives. Several years ago, I came to the conclusion that I could hook up with one of the famous infomercial giants and do just that. The pitch would come on the TV late at night and I watched it for several weeks before deciding it was the one for me. I was a freshman in college and had a TV in my room for the first time in my life. I had no idea that I was headed for trouble. The guy’s name was Don Lapre and he was very persuasive in his Internet Scam. The idea was for a new revolutionary lifetime reminder service. The idea was that you would sign up people for the service and they would pay a set fee to be reminded of important dates, times, appointments, etc.
