The diabetic foot Complications

Having a diabetic foot in clients with diabetes put their selves at an increase risk of tissue damage of their foot and lower limb due to the pathophysiollogical process. Base on some observations the most number one reason for admission to hospital to patients with diabetes is due to the complications of the foot. These complication that result in the hospital admission include a spreading infection due to an ulceration of the skin; a wound that will not heal; a Charcot’s foot, which is a fracture or dislocation of a bone or joint. Often the outcome of this admission is a total or partial amputation of the foot, as it is the only way to get healed.
