A few new things then off to the river
We stopped off at a turangi tackle shop place on our way to Turangi to get a few bits and pieces that we needed for the day. We had most of the right gear but we wanted to get a few new flies to try out and we also had to get a new net because our old one was a bit worse for wear and the fish would probably fall through it. When we got to the river we were absolutely stoked because it was flowing really well and we could see plenty of fish before we even started putting the lines in so that was an encouraging start to the day.
