Writing a Eulogy

I often write eulogies for my co-workers to use as I am a writer by trade. My biggest problem with doing this is trying to decide When to use a Funeral Poem and when to use other forms of tribute. I often don’t know the people I am eulogizing which can make this a difficult task. This dilemma has led me to now request a meeting with the family of the deceased. Although they always give me personal information to include, the more information I include the easier it is to personalize my words. A eulogy should express deeply held sentiments of the remaining family members which is always my goal. Apparently I manage to succeed quite often as I keep getting asked to handle this task.
