Recycling Mobile Phones Just Makes Good Sense
When my friend Martha came over for coffee the other day, I was surprised to see her four-year old playing with her cell phone. I certainly don’t let my little ones touch mine. She laughed and then told me that it was an old one that was no longer turned on. When she upgraded, she gave this one to her child as a toy, and the little girl was certainly having fun with it. I asked her if she knew about the program to recycle mobile phones to soldiers overseas and other people who need but can’t afford them? She thought that maybe the best idea was to buy her daughter a toy phone and give hers away where it could actually be used again. Good plan.
