Cruise ship holidays and the past
In my mind there’s a certain air of romance and nostalgia surrounding cruises. It reminds me of stories that my great grand parents used to tell me about taking a ship across the Atlantic to get to America in the days long before you could book yourself a flight on huge trans Atlantic aircraft. I like the idea of taking a cruise ship holiday somewhere exotic and getting away from it all. There’s something very calming about the sea - I am one of those lucky people who doesn’t suffer from sea sickness so I just find the whole experience of being on a ship really relaxing.
