Happy birthday VW Camper
I read on a car blog that the VW Camper van is celebrating its 60th birthday this year. That means that it has been on the roads for longer than I have been alive! My hippie parent used to own one when they were a lot younger, which was painted all over in somewhat psychedelic messages of love, and when I passed my driving test it was the first car I bought with my own money. My friends and I kitted it out and drove it down to Cornwall for weeks of surfing and camping. I loved that camper van!
